Ramah Lake Series
Although this wasn’t a series I painted intentionally, I paint my lake so often that it has, over the last couple of years, become a series. I’m fascinated by the incredible variety and changeability the lake shows. Every hour, every day, every season offers something different. (A couple of the paintings don’t show the lake specifically, but they are of the rocky cliffs towering over it, as in “Expanse,” or of the road leading to it, as in “Turnaround.”)
